Fundraising
We incorporated with the Commonwealth on July 7th, which means that we can begin accepting direct donations from individuals and businesses.

We have filed for 501(c)(3) status. The IRS has told us that non-profit status is retroactive to the date we incorporate. They told us that we may begin accepting tax deductible donations as of the date of our incorporation, which was July 7th. If you work for a company that matches contributions, please talk to your HR department. Some companies are satisfied if the organization has "applied" for 501(c)(3) status, but some want to see the letter of determination from the IRS, which can take 2 months.

  • Adopt-a-PC
If you were planning on contributing to the Adopt-a-PC program, please consider doing so before monday if you can, so that we can report them to the Kingston Reporter. The Reporter will track our progress each week. Progress will be reported on mondays and published on the following friday. Money received via this program will be gifted to the Kingston Elementary School System so that they can purchase the PCs through discounted State programs.

All donors will be listed on our Sponsors page. We will be thrilled to accept any amount you can offer, but we have some levels of giving defined as:

    "Friends" - anything under $80
    "Bytes" - $80
    "Megabytes" - $320
    "Gigabytes" - $640
    "Terabytes" - $1280 and up
